WHAT A GREAT LOCATION. STAFF WERE DELIGHTFUL

My husband and I spent four nights and three days at the Green Garland Pension and loved every minute of our stay. The staff was warm, friendly and welcoming. On our third night, I realized that I had accidentally reserved only three nights and neglected to reserve the pension for our fourth night. The staff didn't miss a beat and worked with us to reserve the fourth night. The location is a 5 minute walk to the Charles Bridge and Old Town and about 8 minutes to the Jewish Quarter. We loved our time in Prague and would welcome the opportunity to stay here again.

We very much enjoyed the Green Garland and the staff was wonderful. I don't think you could beat the location either. Prague is a beautiful city and we enjoyed our stay. Thanks so much. Anne Bray

Superb stay in a very friendly and warm Pension. Quiet, large rooms where we could relax after a hard days sight-seeing but in an amazing location so we were close to all the main attractions. Lovely breakfast, really cosy. Have recommended the Green Garland to all y friends and family.

Very nice pension in excellent location. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Calm affected by building work across the street which should be finished soon.

The Green Garland hotel was lovely, as ever (we had stayed here before) It is in a perfect location, right in the middle of the Old Town, but in a very quiet street with no traffic noise, close to both Charles Bridge and Old Town Square. This time we had a suite and the room was huge, as was the extremely comfortable king size bed!
The only slight critiscism was that when we stayed there 3 years ago, tea & coffee making facilities were provided, which they seem to no longer provide (although there was a kettle and a fridge in the suite, just no coffee or milk, which there had been on previous visits)
Breakfast finished a little early too (9.30) - we never seemed to be up early enough to eat breakfast in the hotel!

- The staff was very helpful and polite.
- The location was excellent
- The room was clean and comfortable
- Cost of room was reasonable
- The only downside is the sound proofing - it can be quite noisy when people are walking/talking in the corridoor

Good location being near Charles Bridge and Old Town. Very quiet and laid back. The shower was excellent.

Excellent location, tidy little accomodation for people who look for central location, good and personalized service (also in good english), good breakfast and VERY peaceful environment.

Stayed for a short break in 2003. Have just looked up to recommend to a friend. Having stayed in other locations in the city this is by far the best value for money. Friendly and cosy and easy access to all locations worth visiting on a short break.

Very enjoyable 5 night stay in clean, spacious room. Staff fantastic - very friendly and helpful. Breakfast plentiful and good choice. Very centrally located which was ideal for visiting all major sites. Good value for money.

Enjoyable 2 night stay (too short) at Green Garland 2-4 August. Pension ideally located for exploring Stare Mesto (5 minutes walk to Charles Bridge & Old Town Square) yet situated on a quiet street.

Rooms simply furnished but clean & spacious; good buffet breakfast with plenty of choice. Staff very helpful and welcoming - we would definitely stay here again.

Overall we thought a good choice for couples, families or independent travellers rather than parties - particularly good for those on a short break in view of the central location.

Had an excellent stay at the Green Garland over five days in August. Rooms were clean, breakfast was fine. Excellent location from which to wander about the Old Town, New Town, Josefov and Hradcany. Everything is so close.
