Apartments Le Royal - Gast review

Good morning.

Unfortunately we didn't stay at Apartments Le Royal - apparently they were double booked. Instead we were placed at Langhams. The apartment there was warm and clean with a lovely outlook but being very modern it was not the 'old Prague experience' we had anticipated and signed up for. We said as such on the phone immediately on arrival to 'Jan'. It wasn't until we were in the taxi going back to the airport that we were told that Jan is not a representative of your company, but the owner of various apartments. While he did discount our payment due to his error (did he ever plan to allow us to stay in Apartments Le Royal?) in double booking, he did not pay our return taxi transfer to the airport as he promised at the time of our arrival on Sunday 15 Feb. There were various calls back and forward to your office on Thursday 19 Feb, and the outcome was that we were disappointed again.

While our experience of Prague itself was great, this whole episode made us feel very wary and let down; phone calls with Jan were too frequent over our four days of holiday, and ultimtely they didn't deliver. We continue to feel let down in that respect, and to doubt Jan's trustworthiness.

Our taxi driver was really helpful in all this.

We had a wonderful week holiday in Prague, the Christmas soul around us and we were very satisfied with the apartment we rented. It's "very central" meaning you can walk almost everywhere, take a tram from the station in front of the apartment or walk 200 m to metro station where 2 lines meet. Plenty of shopping and dining facilities on the same street make life fun and easy. Apartment very clean, spacious, only problem trams run all night and a bit noisy (we bought ear plugs second day and never got bothered again). Reception very helpful (on the same street) as was the pickup service. I would definitely recommend the appartment and Athos Travel to organise everything without any mistakes.

Everything were as expected. An excellent stay both at Prague and the appartment. I strongly recommend it.

We were initially put into the wrong apartment on Vodickova and had to make a fuss to get moved to the one we had booked (C11) - however this was sorted out the following morning and the representative was apologetic. Transfer etc. absolutely great and we would use Athos again.

Ons antwoord: The receptionist made a mistake in booking and the manager of the apartment apologied and sorted the whole misunderstanding out.

Very nice compleet beautifull appartment. In the middel of Praque. Tram in front of the appartment. No noice. We will recommend it to all people!

Heel mooi schoon groot leuk ingericht appartement 4e verdieping met lift. Compleet met allle luxe (afwasmachine magnetron bad tv internet etc) Midden in centrum van praag. Een echte aanrader

I had a fantastic trip. The apartment was absolutely beautiful, and I have already highy reccomended it to friends
